Rehabilitation and Performance

PHYSIOKINETICS offers bespoke rehabilitation and performance services to clubs, teams, and individual athletes, informed by more than 10 years of experience in clinical and professional sports environments.

Our approach combines evidence-based rehabilitation, injury prevention, return-to-sport strategies, functional performance assessment, and individualized performance development. By integrating clinical expertise, sports science, biomechanics, and performance diagnostics, we develop criteria-based rehabilitation and training programs tailored to the individual athlete and their specific sporting demands.

A particular area of expertise is running and gait analysis, especially for recreational and competitive runners. Through a detailed assessment of running mechanics, movement patterns, and individual biomechanical characteristics, we identify opportunities to improve running technique, efficiency, and load management. Based on these findings, we develop individualized training programs to optimize running style and performance, complemented by targeted exercises designed to address functional deficits, improve movement control, and help prevent running-related overuse injuries.

From injury rehabilitation and progressive return to activity through to running analysis, injury prevention, and performance optimization, PHYSIOKINETICS provides an individualized and evidence-based approach designed to support sustainable athletic performance.

Consulting & Concept Development

PHYSIOKINETICS provides specialized consulting and concept development for professional sports clubs, teams, medical and performance departments, and sports organizations.

Drawing on extensive experience in clinical and professional sports environments, we support organizations in the development, evaluation, and optimization of rehabilitation, return-to-sport, injury prevention, and performance concepts. Current scientific evidence is translated into practical frameworks and strategies that can be effectively integrated into everyday clinical and sporting environments.

A particular focus lies on the development of individualized, criteria-based rehabilitation and return-to-sport pathways, including the definition of rehabilitation phases, progression criteria, functional testing, load management, and decision-making processes throughout the return-to-sport continuum.

Beyond individual rehabilitation pathways, PHYSIOKINETICS supports the development and refinement of interdisciplinary structures and processes at the interface of medicine, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports science, and performance. Existing concepts can be systematically reviewed, adapted to current scientific evidence, and tailored to the specific requirements, resources, and sporting demands of an organization.

The aim is to create evidence-based, practical, and sustainable concepts that establish clear structures, facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration, and support consistent decision-making in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athlete performance.

Lectures and Seminars

PHYSIOKINETICS provides specialized seminars, workshops, and speaking engagements for healthcare professionals, sports organizations, clubs, and interdisciplinary medical and performance teams.

Our educational activities focus on current and clinically relevant topics in sports rehabilitation, return to sport, injury prevention, functional assessment, and performance, translating scientific evidence and professional sports experience into practical knowledge for everyday clinical and sporting environments.

Seminars and workshops are designed to provide participants with evidence-based, structured, and directly applicable approaches to contemporary sports rehabilitation and injury management. Content can be tailored to the specific needs and professional backgrounds of the respective audience.

In addition to professional education, PHYSIOKINETICS is actively engaged in scientific and professional speaking activities, including invited lectures, expert presentations, and contributions to scientific congresses and conferences. These activities provide a platform for sharing current research, clinical concepts, and practical perspectives in sports medicine and rehabilitation with both scientific and professional audiences.

Through education, knowledge transfer, and scientific exchange, PHYSIOKINETICS aims to contribute to the continuous development of evidence-based practice in sports rehabilitation and performance.
